Fighting hair loss caused by stress, diet, illness...

"I have been feeling tired for months and keep finding my hair everywhere: in the shower, on my hairbrush, on my clothes... What is going on?"

HOW TO RECOGNIZE SUDDEN HAIR LOSS (DUE TO STRESS, FATIGUE, DIET, ILLNESS...)

You lose over 100 hairs a day:
You have alopecia, the scientific name for hair loss.
The average person loses between 40 and 80 hairs per day.

Your hair starts falling out in clumps suddenly and without warning:
The hair loss is diffuse and concerns the entire head, rather than just an isolated area.

This type of hair loss is caused by an emotional or physical shock.

HOW TO RECOGNIZE SUDDEN HAIR LOSS (DUE TO STRESS, FATIGUE, DIET, ILLNESS...)
WHY DOES IT HAPPEN?

WHY DOES IT HAPPEN?

Sudden hair loss is usually triggered by a specific event and occurs in the following 2-3 months.

The triggering event may be:

- Seasonal changes
- Stress, emotional shock
- Restricted diet or a poor diet
- Fatigue, overexertion
- Childbirth
- Illness
- Some medical treatments

The event causes hairs enter the shedding phase early before completing the growth phase. This type of hair loss mainly affects women.

THE CAUSES OF SUDDEN HAIR LOSS (STRESS, FATIGUE, DIET, ILLNESS...)

When it comes to hair health and beauty, understanding the underlying cause is necessary to choosing the most effective treatment.

THE TWO CAUSES OF SUDDEN HAIR LOSS

VASCULAR CAUSE: poor blood flow to the hair bulb means the hair does not get the essential elements it needs to grow.

NUTRITIONAL CAUSE: a deficiency in the nutrients essential to hair growth.

IS IT POSSIBLE TO SLOW DOWN THIS HAIR LOSS?

In order to slow down sudden hair loss, you need to treat these two causes. Each can be responsible for gradual hair loss, alone or in combination with the other.

However, it is almost impossible to know the exact combination of causes, so the best solution is to treat both.

TWO MODES OF ACTION FOR FIGHTING SUDDEN HAIR LOSS (due to stress, diet, fatigue...)

VASCULAR ACTION: stimulates microcirculation
Microcirculation is stimulated through the combined action of natural Pfaffia extract,* Lemon and Sage essential oils, Arginine, and Vitamin B3. The Pfaffia increases the number of blood capillaries, whereas the Lemon and Sage essential oils increase blood flow.

NUTRITIONAL ACTION: a two-pronged approach
1. Induction of the growth phase: ATP, an exclusive hair loss innovation, provides an essential source of energy for the hair follicle. It sends an early energy signal, activating hair growth.**

2. Strengthening of the hair: once growth has been activated, it is essential to encourage the development of beautiful hair by with essential nutrients like Methionine, which is needed for keratin production, Vitamin B5, and Biotine. In addition, the combined action of Plant peptides, Zinc, and Copper fortify and nourish the hair bulb for even stronger growth.

RESULT: Hair loss is reduced and growth is stimulated. The hair quickly regains its natural strength and thickness.

YOUR QUESTIONS ABOUT GRADUAL HAIR LOSS

To help with your day-to-day problems, we put our scientific expertise at your disposal.

DAILY TIPS

I want to find a way to hide the effects of my hair loss. What can I do?

Opt for a shorter haircut, as this always makes the sparse areas seem less obvious.
For women, an above-the-shoulder cut gives an impression of volume.
For men, wearing your hair very short is a good solution because it minimizes the difference between the areas with and without hair, making the thinning areas are less obvious.
If you have any questions, speak to a hairdresser who will be able to help.
If the hair loss is only mild, wearing a hat, scarf, or other hair accessory can be a good way to camouflage the thinning area.

CONCERNS/PRECONCEIVED NOTIONS

Someone told me that massaging the scalp is good for preventing hair loss, is that true?

Yes, that is absolutely correct. Massaging the scalp activates the local microcirculation and helps supply the nutrients needed for strong hair growth.

Try COMPLEXE 5 Regenerating plant extract and give yourself a massage. It promotes well-being and relaxation and is a wonderful tonic and stimulant for the scalp.

I often wear a cap or a hat. Can that make my hair fall out?

No, wearing a cap or a hat does not encourage hair loss.
However, if it is very tight or you wear it very often and it rubs the same parts of your head, it can cause the hair to thin or break.

Does brushing make hair loss worse?

Not at all. Brushing helps remove hair that has already died, and any dust and dirt. However, it does not aggravate hair loss; on the contrary, it is beneficial for the scalp because it aerates and volumizes the hair.

Is hair loss a seasonal problem?

Yes, this is true. We are most prone to hair loss during the changes of the seasons, and especially during the fall.

EFFECTS OF LIFESTYLE

I am often stressed and tired. Does that mean I will continue to lose my hair for my entire life?

Stress and fatigue are two factors that can cause hair loss. If you address the underlying problem, there is no reason why you should continue losing your hair.

I have moved to a new environment (town, country, social circle, etc.) and I have been losing my hair. Is it related?

Any change can be a cause of stress. Hair loss may thus be linked to this change of environment. As you adapt to your new life, your hair loss will naturally resolve itself.

Can dying my hair often cause hair loss?

Dying your hair does not normally cause hair loss. However, it can (if done often and if the dye is left on for too long) alter the keratin in the hair, making it fine and brittle. Our OKARA PROTECT COLOR ritual is perfect for protecting and enhancing the radiance of color-treated hair.

I use straighteners, curling irons, hair dryers etc. Can they cause hair loss?

These styling tools can dehydrate the hair, leaving it dry and brittle. However, they do not cause hair loss. Moderate use of good quality tools that respect the hair should not lead to any drastic consequences, especially if used with our LISSEA ritual to protect and repair straightened hair.

Can washing my hair frequently make hair loss worse?

No, there are no drawbacks to washing your hair often. Washing your hair every day cannot in itself cause your hair to fall out.

ILLNESS

I used to be anorexic. Does that cause hair loss?

Anorexia, like any unbalanced diet, can affect your hair. It occurs in several different stages, depending on how long the body is deprived of food and to what extent. Hair initially becomes duller and more brittle, then in the longer term it can begin to fall out. However, a return to a balanced diet, possibly combined with a targeted treatment, should make the hair loss gradually return to normal.

After chemotherapy, does hair grow back by itself or is there a recommended treatment I should use?

Hair loss is unfortunately a well-known side effect of chemotherapy. You should never use any hair loss treatment while you are undergoing chemotherapy, as it could actually make the hair loss worse. You must wait until the treatment has finished, and then an additional 2-3 months for the drugs to be fully eliminated from your body, before starting any hair loss treatment such as RF 80 Concentrated serum for hair loss. This treatment accelerates the growth of new hair and encourages strong, healthy hair. However, if you have suffered from hormone-dependent breast cancer, we recommend using TRIPHASIC instead of RF 80, which contains sage essential oil.
Oral treatments are not recommended and may even be prohibited after chemotherapy.

PRODUCT FAQ (USES, CONTRAINDICATIONS, RESULTS...)

I am currently taking prescription drugs, is there a contraindication?

If you are taking medication, you should always speak to your doctor before starting any hair loss treatment in order to ensure there are no contraindications.

When will I start to see the results?

RF80 ATP ENERGIE gives proven, visible results from the first month of treatment.* The first signs are a significant reduction in hair loss after shampooing, brushing, or on the towel or clothes, as well as a significant increase in the volume and thickness of the hair from the very first month.
84% of subjects questioned noticed the effects of this hair loss program after just one month of treatment.*
However, you should complete the full course of treatment (3 months) in order to ensure the best possible results.

*% satisfaction after 28 days of treatment - 51 subjects

If I stop treatment, will my hair start falling out again?

With sudden hair loss, once you have completed the full 3 months of treatment, the hair will have started to grow back stronger. The sudden hair loss will be over. If you still experience problems, you may be suffering from gradual hair loss
